Wood Duck Farm
Lots of corn, green beans, potatoes planted this week for the spring. It has been a relatively dry week, so we are now having to overhead irrigate these newly planted crops to insure good germination. Hoping to get our tomato seedling transplanted this coming week. Looks like a nice few days ahead, we are hoping to soon get back to clearing the back 40 acres again.
FYI, we will have pints of our sustainably grown strawberries available at the Urban Harvest located on Eastside, between Richmond & Alabama.
Just a reminder that egg, honey, cheese etc. orders are due tonight, Saturday, by midnight. Visit to WDF Order Online or read further to get an sample idea of what's available. Do I need to be a CSA member? Nope! Just order online and pick up at one of our thirteen Houston area locations.
