 | SN-ICC to Submit Proposed Amendments to 2012 IBC | |
By Doug Evans, P.E. SN-ICC 1st Vice-President
Over the next several months, the International Code Council will be accepting proposed amendments to several of the 2012 "I" Codes. For the first time, the SN-ICC will participate by submitting amendments to the 2012 IBC for incorporation into the 2015 IBC.
The Southern Nevada construction community invested thousands of hours to develop our local amendments to the 2009 IBC. We will be reviewing those consensus amendments to determine which should be incorporated into the base IBC.
This is a great opportunity to affect the base code and reduce the number of amendments needed locally.
If you have questions or would like to participate, please contact Doug Evans at dhe@ClarkCountyNV.gov. |
