Dear Friend of Josiah Hill Clinic,
Welcome!Welcome to the new monthly Josiah Hill III Clinic newsletter. There have been exciting things happening here at JHC , and we that we thought you might be interested. If you do not find our updates beneficial, feel free to unsubscribe, but we do hope that you enjoy!
Thank You!

Director Erin McNally with volunteerThanks to all of you who attended our Volunteer Appreciation Awards Ceremony in February. It was great to have the opportunity to recognize so many of the people who make Josiah Hill the vibrant, community-focused organization that it is. Last year, ninety-one volunteers donated a whopping nine hundred and six hours to the clinic. The scope and impact of our volunteer participation is extremely vital to accomplishing our mission.

For those of you who haven't yet experienced the thrill of volunteering at JHC, feel free to explore your options!  Become a Community Leader, conduct healthy home assessments, participate in green cleaning workshops, or perform lead poison tests at our mobile clinics. We would love to have you.
The Next Big Thing

Browsing the Auction TableSpeaking of events, our next big affair is this year's Leaving a Legacy Fundraiser, held on May 13th at the Acadian Ballroom. Our silent auction features some really unique packages, including a trip to the Oregon coast, an elegant Cognac gift set, and a sweet Bride-to-Be package including a personal photography and spa session. The event will also include a Wall of Wine, the presentation of two Josiah Hill Awards, and of course, a delicious dinner catered by the Acadian. Kate, Iris, ErinAnd speaking of leaving a legacy, there have been some changes recently at Josiah Hill III.

After four years of dedicated service, director Erin McNally is leaving the clinic to explore a life in lovely North Carolina. We are proud to announce that Erin was nominated for this year's 17th Annual Crystal Awards in Fundraising and we wish her the best of luck.

Program Director Kate O'Donnell has also moved on.  After a whirlwind bicycle trip through Chile, Kate will pursue a master's degree in public health at Columbia University. However, she will be gracing us with her presence at the Leaving a Legacy event, if you'd like to touch base before she leaves for the east coast!

Having completed her year's term, ClearCorps member Iris Hilburger is now working with children at the Outdoor School. We really appreciate the strong connections Iris has created within the community and all of her wonderful work at JHC.

The shiny new members of the team are Amanda Lawrence, Program Coordinator, and Nicole Staudinger, ClearCorps Communications Specialist.  Feel free to connect with us!  We are full of ideas and excited to be a part of the organization. For bios and other quick JHC news, read more...
Lastly, Josiah Hill Clinic would just like to thank all of you for contributing to the clinic in whatever capacity you have.  Check our website for the latest blood testing clinics, green clean workshops, and other program information.  Enjoy the springtime, everyone, and best wishes!

Sincerely,
The Staff
