Invitation to Discuss Worship
Worship
The Worship ministry team continually discerns what Lutheran worship is and could be at St. John's. As part of our ongoing discussion this fall, we will be reading together Mark Pierson's book The Art of Curating Worship, and would like to invite the congregation to join us! Everyone is welcome. We will read the book in installments and discuss the assigned section at the beginning of each Worship ministry team monthly meeting, the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 at St. John's. Our first assignment, pp. ix to 27, will be discussed at the Oct. 4 meeting. If you care to join us, obtain a copy of the book before that date and come prepared to share your thoughts. Books are available for $10 through Larry Christensen; contact LarryC@stjohnsdsm.org or call 243-7691.
