In the last Newsletter we told you that we are starting to receive pictures of the children. Now it is your turn to have your picture taken to give to them! Below, we have listed times that we will be available to take your picture to give to "your" child. We have tried to set times that correspond to other church activities for everyone's convenience. Please come to the church courtyard during one of these dates or times. In case of rain, we will arrange an indoor site so come to the office.
- Wednesday Sept. 14 4:30
- Saturday Sept. 17 4:00
- Sunday Sept. 25 8:30-9:00 and 10:00-11:00
When you have your picture taken please provide a short biography to give to your child. Keep your sentences short and simple since they must be translated to Swahili. The children range in age from 7 to 12.

Hello, our name is Jim and Peg Hammer. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. We like to go fishing. Jim grows tomatoes in his garden. Peg likes to read books. We are happy to have your picture. Here is our picture.
For those who adopted teachers, just write a short biography. The teachers were all educated at Dindimo Teacher's College and read and speak English.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for the October 16th lunch. At the lunch, we will have pictures of the children for you to take home. Eli Kisimbo, our Tanzanian contact, will be at the lunch to talk about the Children's Club and answer any questions you may have. He has also agreed to deliver your picture and biography to your adopted child.
It's so exciting to know we are making a difference on the other side of the World.
