Procession for Peace

PalmPalm Sunday Sunday, April 17, 2011

  • 2:30 pm - Gather at the Capitol West Mall
  • 3:00 pm - Process down Grand Avenue
  • 3:45 pm - Worship at St. John's Lutheran Church

You are invited to attend either or both parts of the program.

The stark contrast between violent and non-violent pro-democracy movements in North Africa gives us all new incentive to take advantage of the opportunities we have to promote peaceful methods of resolving conflicts.  We will mourn for those lost, pray for those caught in the violence, and celebrate the hope of new and thriving movements for peace.

Peace,
