October Artist of the Month
Our very own Louise KochLong-time member of St. John's, Louise Koch, is displaying a selection of her beautiful paintings of rural scenes and landscapes in Weertz Fellowship Hall during the month of October. For many years, she was a weekend painter, packing up her oils and canvases and heading for the countryside. Today, she continues to paint landscapes with her new favorite medium, watercolors, which she finds exciting and challenging. Louise started and for many years was in charge of our Artist of the Month exhibitions.

November Artist of the Month
Awe-Inspiring Compositions of the HeavensNovember Artist of the Month is Jerry Pottorff, a self-taught Des Moines artist who began painting and drawing as a young child and has continued his passion for creating cutting edge art throughout his life. His work today is very distinctive, combining his artist talents and life-long fascination with astronomy to paint the eternal beauty and awe-inspiring compositions of the heavens. Don't miss it as it hangs on the walls of Weertz Fellowship Hall during the month of November.
