When we did the pictorial directory last fall Olan Mills had a special offer for churches with an anniversary in the next year. They gave us a $1,000 gift card to use for the next year's anniversary and ONLY for that celebration. We plan to celebrate the 145th by having a "Memories Room" and a brunch at 10:00 a.m. on November 7th.

Artist of the Month
Our very own Louise Koch
Long-time member of St. John's, Louise Koch, is displaying a selection of her beautiful paintings of rural scenes and landscapes in Weertz Fellowship Hall during the month of October. For many years, she was a weekend painter, packing up her oils and canvases and heading for the countryside. Today, she continues to paint landscapes with her new favorite medium, watercolors, which she finds exciting and challenging. Louise started and for many years was in charge of our Artist of the Month exhibitions.
