Even though the game is over a month away, we need to reserve an area soon if there is enough interest so please indicate your interest on the board in the lounge this weekend. (This is taking the place of the picnic and I-Cubs game this year.)

Wine
Change in
Communion Wine

►  Starting in late June, the St. John's Altar Guild will begin serving a rosé wine instead of the traditional dark wine. This change is based on a recent taste test done on a selection of communion wines by the Guild and Pastor Rachel. The rosé wine is a more popular choice among congregations. It is also more "forgiving" when spilled on communion linens. The new wine will also be more easily distinguished from the dark grape juice that the Altar Guild will continue to have available for communion.

Special Communion
Special Communion Service

►  Come as you are...to St. John's on June 6 at 3:00 pm. The service is for everyone, especially those who have problems attending regular worship. There will be large print bulletins, healing and laying on of hands if desired, Communion brought to your pew, and a reception in Neumann. Wheelchairs, walkers, canes and bedroom slippers are welcome! There will be help to assist you. If you need a ride, call St. John's at 243-7691 and we will put you on the list for transportation. Come and worship in the beauty of your own church. You are important to us!
