Thanks for Making the 2011 Workshop a Success!
A big thanks to all who attended the NW Ductless Heat Pump Project Workshop on November 1, 2011. Over 300 industry professionals came to learn, network and explore ways to accelerate the adoption of ductless technology.

The workshop was buzzing with new ideas from the wide range of sessions. Most importantly, networking opportunities developed into valuable new partnerships that will pave the way for industry growth.

Sharing Regional Experience at the Workshop
Utility representatives, contractors, manufacturers and distributors collaborated on ways to increase DHP installations in a brainstorming excersise. These groups identified sales challenges and potential solutions including: 
 

Challenges

  • Finding the right messaging
  • Identifying eligible homeowners
  • Overcoming cost barriers

Solutions

  • Utilize Project marketing resources such as sales sheets, newspaper templates, campaign brochure and messaging
  • Target neighborhoods where you have installed DHPs
  • Promote Umpqua Bank's GreenStreet loan program to  overcome cost barriers

Remember to participate and spread the word about the $10,000 sweepstakes giveaway! Consumers have a chance to win $10,000 while learning about ductless heating and cooling technology. The campaign runs until December 31, 2011. In addition to the cash prize, there are weekly giveaways on the Going Ductless Facebook page. Take these steps to participate:
  • Friend the Going Ductless page here
  • Add promotional touts for the YouTube Channel and Sweepstakes to your website
  • Share the provided YouTube videos on your website or on your YouTube Channel
  • Share Going Ductless Facebook posts on your Facebook page

The Regional Campaign results to date are exceeding expectations with over 1,000 sweepstakes entries and over 2.5 million impressions. Help us continue to raise consumer awareness by leveraging the campaign support materials here
