Etosha Heights Game Lodge
Nestled within a magnificent wildlife sanctuary, bordering 75 kilometers of the World Famous Etosha National Park, lies our private wildlife reserve spanning over 50,000 hectares (120,000 acres).

Lion Lodge
The surrounding terrain, peppered with hides and water holes, differs vastly, ranging from panoramic mountain vistas to flat grass and Acacia plains, edged by Mopani Woodland.
Contained within this vast expanse are:
·Two attractive, family orientated, hunting lodges.
·A 5000-hectare "hunt free photographic zone" encircling our lodges. A 2000 hectare introduction and protection enclosure specifically designed for the protection of endangered species such as Sable and Black Faced Impala against an ever-increasing population of Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Spotted hyena.
·A kaleidoscope of game comprising of no less than 35 species.

PH Marius Burger with client and huge Oryx Bull
Available to hunt on generous quota in the categories of "Trophy" and "Selection", are Hartmann's zebra, Eland, Blue Wildebeest, Burchell's Zebra, Giraffe, Greater Kudu, Hartebeest, Oryx, Springbok, Steenbok, Waterbuck, Warthog, Spotted Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Guinea Fowl, Hare, Sand Grouse and Doves.
Strictly on quota and/or subject to special permits are Lion, Leopard, African Wildcat, Small-spotted Genet, Black Faced Impala, Grey Duiker, Ostrich, Damara Dik-Dik, Caracal, Brown Hyena, Aardwolf, Bat-Eared and Cape Foxes.
Available from neighboring concessions by special request are Blesbok, Black Wildebeest, Common Impala, Damara dik-dik and Ostrich.
We are also proud participants in the Namibian ministry of tourism and environment/WWF custodianship of the endangered Black Rhino, a number of which, together with White Rhino roam freely within the hunting and photographic zones.

The hunting area shares a 50km border with Etosha National Park and consists of 50,000 hectares of unspoilt Namibian bushveld. The area is situated 550km from the international airport in Windhoek. It is a long drive from the airport, and we advise that our clients fly with Air Namibia to avoid an extra leg of the journey and time in transit. We can also arrange a charter flight from Windhoek to and from the hunting district with payment of a supplement.
A third of the hunting area is mountainous with breathtaking views over Etosha National park. The remaining two thirds are open plains with mopani and acacia trees, where it is possible to run into a rhino or a lion while you are out hunting!
Fair chase hunting is practiced here, and hunting from cars is not carried out (however special arrangements and exceptions can be made for elderly and handicapped hunters).
With the exception of a protected 2000-hectare breeding area, there are no fences in the hunting district, and they only started limited hunting here in 2006.

In the hunting district you can find all the species that naturally occur in Namibia. The very talented professional hunters will make sure that you have an unforgettable hunting experience. The fact that you can hunt in an area where large predators such as lion are present, helps make this hunting area unique. The area is also ideal for bow hunting.
Our clients can choose, if they want to be accommodated in the cozy hunting lodge, named ETOSHA LION LODGE, or stay a little bit more luxurious and comfortable at ETOSHA SAFARI Lodge.

ETOSHA LION LODGE:
This camp consists of 3 double and 3 single rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathroom. Furthermore there is a bar, a living/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. Outdoors there is a boma and a swimming pool, surrounded by a huge lawn, where wildebeest, kudu and other species come to visit evening and night, to get to the nearby waterhole.

In both lodges they will serve excellent meals and good, South African wines.
