Set for release the first week of the New Year--a delicious new Chocolate-Raspberry WineTime Bar. And for everyone who feels that the original Chocolate, Dates & Almonds bar is absolutely delicious--just wait until you taste this one.

The nutritional profile is almost identical to our first award-winning, patent-pending bar. Calorie content (190) is the same. The bar has eight grams of satisfying fiber.

Just like the first bar that has gained rave reviews across the country, the Chocolate-Raspberry bar is loaded with seven extra "super fruits" -- noni, pomegranate, goji, acai, mangosteen and blueberry.  It is gluten and dairy free and contains no trans fat, hydrogenated oils or high fructose con syrup; no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or preservatives; and no cholesterol.

The Chocolate-Raspberry bar is also rich in dates and almonds. And, of course, it still contains more resveratrol than 50 glasses of red wine.

For the second year running The WineTime Bar has been selected as the "Official Gourmet Nutrition Bar" of The Tasty Awards.

The Tasty Awards is the premier broadcast awards show to celebrate and recognize the year's best achievements in food and fashion programs on television, in film, and online.  Tasty Awards are selected in various categories by a panel of A-list industry judges, as well as by viewer voting.

Recipients will be announced and receive their honors on January 13, 2011 at a Red Carpet Awards Show in Hollywood, portions of which will be filmed for broadcast on national television as well as on Hulu.com and partner sites.

SAN FRANCISCO TO STEAMBOAT TO SAN DIEGO

We keep putting bars into the hands of good organizations. This last month we donated bars to the PBS television station in the Bay area for its fund-raising auction. We also gave bars to the Sisters in Steamboat weekend (Steamboat Springs, Colorado) and La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs 50^th anniversary celebration. This is an international gastronomic group that was holding its convention in San Diego.
