TOP TEN TRAVEL SNACK
WineTime Bar was listed in the "10 Healthy Snacks for Traveling" article on the www.wearegoodkin.com web site. The article said, "For those who absolutely must have a chocolate bar, reach for a heart-healthy fiber-rich version instead."
PERFECT TEXTURE... ABSOLUTELY DIVINE...
"You can find wine in nearly every type of bar...including a chocolate bar! Gone are the days of the typical boring nutritional bar. Each WINETIME bar contains more Resveratrol than 50 glasses of red wine! You should treat it like a fine glass of wine...savoring every moment of it. The taste is quite sophisticated. With each bite I experienced the luxurious flavors of premium French grapes and rich, dark chocolate. They were soft with chewy bits of dates, making for a perfect texture. I'm not kidding when I say they are absolutely divine.
"WINETIME bars are a wonderful treat that any wine lover is sure to adore! Even if you're not a fan of wine, this is a bar you will truly appreciate. It's not often you find something this indulgent that you don't have to feel guilty about eating! Resveratrol WINETIME bars can be eaten as a snack or meal replacement and would surely make a treasured gift!"

This is the product I've been looking for. It's a decadent dessert treat that complements red wine. My customers love it. How can something so good for you taste so good, too?

Resveratrol May Prevent Blindness, Study Says
Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis say that resveratrol may prove useful in preventing the vision loss associated with diabetes and old age.
The study, conducted on mice, showed that resveratrol helps block the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the eye, such as that associated with macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in people over 50. Researchers say resveratrol could also prove useful in treating two other eye disorders: diabetic retinopathy, which causes vision loss in about 20 percent of people with diabetes, and retinopathy of prematurity, a condition that strikes some babies born prematurely.
Note: The study was published in the July issue of the American Journal of Pathology. Full article carried by CBS News is on the website: www.winetimebar.com/resveratrol-news.php. Potential Found in a New Approach to Alzheimer's The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and many other leading publications carried an article on July 23rd saying that researchers studying sirtuins, a protein thought capable of extending lifespan in laboratory animals, have developed a potentially promising approach to treating Alzheimer's disease. Using mice, the researchers showed that activating sirtuins suppressed the disease; destroying sirtuins made the disease worse. Why are we telling you this? Because resveratrol is known to activate sirtuins! The New York Times story can be found on the web site at: www.winetimebar.com/resveratrol-news.php. |
