Dear Friends,

 

Today is a day to remember and be thankful for all that God has blessed us with. We are all truly blessed in many ways. We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how thankful we are for each of you that have said "yes" to answering the cry of injustice. We are all a part of something much bigger than any of us probably realize.

 

We just returned from Uganda this week where we spent time with our staff from the United States that just moved to Uganda to serve Show Mercy as well as the many children that we are now caring for. They asked us to express their sincere gratitude to each of you that are a part of their lives through your support of Show Mercy. They are grateful that they no longer go to sleep with an empty stomach. They are grateful for a bed to sleep on and people that are there to love and care for them. They are thankful that they now have a safe place to live and are able to attend school and learn. They are also thankful for each of you who encourage them by visiting them in Uganda, writing them letters as well as providing the finances needed to see them live a life that they once thought was impossible.

 

We are again so thankful for each of you. We look forward to continuing to expand and make a positive difference in the world through acts of love and kindness.
