n February 2, 2010, Kwik Kopy Design and Print Centre purchased Island Offset Inc., 16 Exhibition Dr., Charlottetown, PEI..
"We are very pleased that five of the current employees will be offered full-time positions at KKDPC", stated Troy. "They are all very experienced in the print industry and will be a great addition to our team."  "The purchase of Island Offset also allows us to expand our customer base and our offering to our current customers," added Shawn MacKenzie.

Island Offset customers can still go to the Exhibition Dr. location during the transition.  "We went through a similar process back in 2007 when we purchased Transcontinental Express", explained Shawn,"and have learned from past experience how to transition customers with the least amount of inconvenience.  The plan is to eventually have all the Island Offset operations moved to our current location on the corner of Euston and Queen St."

Management and staff welcome all the former customers of Island Offset and look forward to providing solutions to all their print needs.
Weekend Warriorrocker tim

During weekdays, Tim MacPherson, one of Kwik Kopy Design and Print Centre's graphic artists, can be found designing artwork for many of our clients.  On weekends, however, you'll find Tim rocking away at one of Charlottetown's local watering holes.

Tim is one of the founding members of Vintage and has been rocking the Charlottetown scene so much with his band-mates, that they have been nominated for, and won Music PEI's Weekend Warrior award for 2010!

Back in his high-school days, Tim and his buddies used to jam together and decided to make it official and form a band.  Now, 17 years later, they are still together and playing strong.  He credits his musical influences to Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, and The Black Crowes.  Balancing work, his music, and his family keep Tim hopping.  He is married and has a two children.

"When coming up with a design don't make the viewer work to get the message," recommends Tim, "and  if you're coming up with more than one design option, always go with yer gut!"
