Nutrition Tip from Heather Wolfe, M.S.
Stay Hydrated

Your body needs water for many things, including: regulationg body temperature, transporting oxygen to cells, and removig waste. Some of the more common signs that you may be dehydrated include joint and muscle pain, muscle cramping, headaches, low back ache, and bright yellow urine.

In order to avoid dehydration especially in these hot summer months, be sure to drink water before you're thirsty. A simple guideline to ensure you are drinking the appropriate amount of water: drink 8 ounces for every 20 minutes of excercise on top of the 60 - 100 ounces you should be drinking on a daily basis.

So be sure your water bottles are full and within reach as the summer temperatures continue to climb.
