Seminar/ Responsible Care for the Survivors of Sexual Abuse
Saturday, October 16th
8:30am - 3:00pm Vienna Presbyterian Church, Great Hall
Presented by Sallie Culbreth, M.S. - Founder and Director of Committed to Freedom Ministry Open To The Public- Come join a community of educators, counselors, social service managers, clergy and church staff as we seek insight and raise awareness about the damaging repercussions of sexual abuse in our community. Ms. Culbreth will discuss the definitions and damage of abuse; memory, healing and forgiveness.Don't miss the opportunity to learn how to help survivors without hurting, and how to develop safe environments for children and youth.This five hour training seminar is for anyone, of any faith background, who works with children.
