Can you play guitar?
Then the BHS Theatre Guild wants you!

We are in need of a professional level lead rock guitar for the RENT pit orchestra. This is a paid gig. Dress rehearsals and performances run between Oct 19 - Nov 7.  Please have anyone you know who would be interested contact our Music Director, Nicole Marschall at nicole.marschall@yahoo.com.
Wanted:  Bolex 16MM Camera
Just to borrow... it doesn't even need to work!

Randy Day is looking to find a 16mm camera to use during the run of RENT.  (Mark's prop as a videographer.)  He has looked in to renting or purchasing them and, of course, they are way to pricey.  BUT... perhaps you have one (or one just like it) lying around your house.

Bolex 16mm Camera

This is what is looks like.  If you have this (or one like it) and are willing to let a couple thespians carry it around a stage for a few weeks, we would LOVE to hear from you!  Just drop a note to Randy Day at rday@burnsville.k12.mn.us.
Looking for (a lot of) volunteers

  • PUBLICITY MAILING - Time to stuff and prepare the annual season brochure for a mass mailing project.  This is planned for Sept 30, Oct 1 or 2 in the evening.  If you can help, please contact Christine Zrust at christine.zrust@theatreBHS.com

  • TECH WORK (Wed evenings & Sat mornings) - Help us build the set, put up lights, pull, repair and build costumes, etc.  If you can help... just show up!

We will also soon be looking for parents to help during performance nights.  So watch for the Sign Up! page on the www.theatreBHS.com website.

Thank you for you!

Theatre is a lot of work.  We thank all of you for your time spent volunteering, promoting the shows, supporting the kids, and everything you do each day to help make each student's day and season better than the last!

See you very soon!
