Dear Reader,
Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our new website when we launched earlier this week. Unfortunately we experienced some server slowdown issues that have now been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Holiday fun from a very special guest
Margaret Atwood has been publishing books with Anansi since the '60's when we published The Circle Game -- we've even published her children's book Up in the Tree on the Groundwood side. Her most recent adult book with us was Payback: Debt and the Shadow Side of Wealth, which will soon be a movie on a screen near you (see the link below). So, we thought it would be fantastic to ask her which of our books she'd give as a Christmas present. And she even agreed to let us turn her into a dancing elf . . .
For festive giving Margaret Atwood recommends
" For: Bleeding edge experimentalists and all those actually alive in 1969. Anyway I know the characters.
What: Five Legs, by Graeme Gibson."
