The small things add up.
Over the past year, I've started to slack off on some small things I did to lose the weight. Sure, they're small and seem insignificant. But slack on enough of them and the scale can go the other way.
This week I'm looking at those "small" things and getting back to what I know works. For example:
Level measure of my half and half for my coffee. I won't give up my half and half. I've tried and I don't enjoy my coffee as much, BUT I measure it. However, lately I've been pouring over the edge. This week -- LEVEL measure and no more.
Leave my toast uncovered. I choose my toast carefully. I had been in the habit of having great tasting bread for toast and leaving it dry. If it tastes great, I don't need butter or other spread. But once I got to my goal weight, I started putting on just a dab. Then the dab grew and grew. This week -- my toast is going dry.
What small things can you add up for health?
