Now that we are in the Holiday Season (it begins with Halloween, right?), it's more important than ever that we take care of ourselves and take the time to plan our healthier choices. Here are a few things you can schedule in this week:
- meal planning (at least the main meals and definitely your snacks)
- a new exercise class to try
- a massage
- some time with a supportive and encouraging friend
- something fun
- getting to sleep earlier
The Holiday Season is also a time to let go of some routine tasks and responsibilities so that you can fit in your holiday activities. It may be time to dhuck your responsibilities. What will you schedule this week?

Saturday, I'm off to the Hawaii Toastmasters' conference in Honolulu and will represent Hilo in the evaluation contest. The Hilo Toastmasters is an amazing and supportive group and I really enjoy spending time with them each week. If you would like to check Toastmasters out, the Hilo group meets on Tuesdays at 12:10.
On Sunday, I will still be on Oahu, attending training on the improvements Weight Watchers has made to their program. As usual, I'm excited about what's going on and can't wait to share it with members beginning in December. |
