Tracking your food works.   Tracking your exercise works.  Tracking a habit works.   Anytime you want to change a behavior, habit or thought, the first step is to become aware of what and when and how often.  Yes we commonly think of tracking as writing it down in a journal, and that does work best for me, but  there are electronic tools that can help you track anything you want to change.  Tracking is about bringing awareness to the moment.  Anything that helps you gain awareness of your choices and your actions will help.

My goal this week is to track what I eat.  When I track I'm conscious of how I feel, how I want to feel and what food will get me there.

What & How will you track this week?

How'd it go?

Did you focus on "want to" last week?

I've lost weight twice before but I gained it back eventually.  This time I'm determined to keep it off and I realize that it's not a one time fix.  It's a journey.  And as with all great journeys, you learn as you go.

I take these small steps with you each week because I also need to build and maintain the habits and behaviors that support me in my journey.  Thanks for joining me each week.  Have fun and enjoy your life!
