I'm sitting here waiting for inspiration on what to write. I think about the things that I could focus on this week, and it all seems like it's been done before (and it has). A healthy weight, in general, comes down to a few basic and simple things we can do:
- eat more fruits & vegetables and less sugar
- eat more whole foods and less processed
- get more fiber and less salt
- eat less overall
- move more
The concept is great. It's the implementation I have the challenge with.
But there are two things I didn't put on the list that can have a huge impact on our health and our weight:
- live happier (laugh more, enjoy more, be thankful more, be more optimistic)
- less stress
I know, that's what we all want. But this weekend, I'm taking time to really live happier. I'm going to pick out a good book, mix up my favorite iced coffee and I may even not check my email! I'll probably take a nap if I'm not too busy relaxing.
What can you do this week to live happier?

This time, like all times, is a very good one, if we but know what to do with it.
