Small Steps
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

I've suggested before that you let go of the clothes that no longer fit you (whether they're too big or too small) and make room in your closet for the clothes that reflect and support who you are today. I hadn't thought of applying the idea of supporting who I am today to my exercise equipment before now.
I've had a Nordic Track ski machine for 20+ years
and it has been a good friend. It's been there through each successful weight loss and almost every attempt. But once I lost the weight I stopped using it. I realized that the Nordic Track is a great fit for me when I'm losing weight but doesn't work for me when I'm maintaining it. For the past 3 1/2 years I've maintained my weight and I have every intention of continuing to live at a healthy weight. The Nordic Track no longer reflects who I am today and what I need. It's time to let it go.
I have a feeling that I will be coming across a few more things that no longer fit who I am today or support my vision of me at this healthier weight. Each time I let go of another item, I proclaim to myself that the healthier me is here to stay.
Do you have equipment that no longer supports or motivates you?
Can you let it go this week?
