A Clutter LESS Lifestyle
April 2010
Aloha,

My top eight ways to live a clutter LESS lifestyle:
  1. Be aware of your strengths as well as your challenges.
  2. Be willing to change the habits that cause your clutter.
  3. Bring home less and let go of more.
  4. Let go of attachments that no longer serve you.
  5. Set aside time (daily, weekly and/or monthly) to get and stay organized.
  6. Acknowledge that there is no magic wand to wave.  It will take time, energy and determination on your part.
  7. Understand that returning to old habits (relapse) is NOT failure, nor is a good reason to quit.
  8. Do the best you can at each moment, which isn't necessarily the best you're capable of.
I'll delve into these a bit deeper in upcoming issues, but for now, is there one that you are willing to focus on this month?  Your way of living a clutter LESS lifestyle may look different from mine (or your neighbor's, friend's or family members').  That's because everyone has different interests, desires and energies.
The Value of Your Donations
Let it go and take it off on your taxes.

Several valuation guides are available to assist you with determining the tax-deductible value of the items you donate.  Just click on the links below.

3 FREE Reminders
Sometimes you may want a reminder to schedule it
If you would like to get an e-mail reminder from me to clear your closet in August, file your paperwork at the end of each month, go through a box each week or some other organizing project, click here to fill in a request form.
Whether you identify your strengths, let go of old attachments or set aside 15 minutes a day to organizing, enjoy the journey.
Shawndra Holmberg
Sincerely,
