Small Steps

A journey of a thousand miles begins with
a single step.

Try This:

I was checking my pedometer the other day and I was disappointed in myself that I had only managed to take 6,500 steps that day.  Then I reminded myself that several months ago, when I was at my least active, that 6,500 would have been an active day for me.  So even though I didn't make my daily goal of 11,500 steps, I was more active than I was just months before.  Looking at those steps from a different perspective reminded me of just how far I have come.  The next day I was back on track and getting my steps in.

How can you change your perspective this week?
How'd it go?

Did you take your walking breaks last week?

My Journey:
Shawndra's AFTER
I've lost weight twice before but I gained it back eventually.  This time I'm determined to keep it off and I realize that it's not a one time fix.  It's a journey.  And as with all great journeys, you learn as you go.

I take these small steps with you each week because I also need to build and maintain the habits and behaviors that support me in my journey.  Thanks for joining me each week.  Have fun and enjoy your life!
