Hot Diggity-Dog! At this party, children create healthy treats for pets and yummy treats for themselves. All party attendees will receive recipes, cookie cutter, and apron.

Cyndi Sterne, owner of Hal's Kitchen shares her secrets for entertaining and party planning!
What are the most important elements for creating a great party?
A relaxed host or hostess makes the best party. Try to do as much in advance as possible. Get your children involved early in the process. If you have a separate dining room or plan to entertain in a less trafficked room, have the kids help you set up a few days before hand. My sisters and I began as our mother's helpers from a very early age and it has paid off for all of us.
How can one avoid the stress that often comes with planning a party? Stay away from new recipes. Go to your tried and true favorites and hits. Don't worry if it doesn't seem trendy or haute. A beautifully set table, fabulous serving pieces or even themed menus can dress up pot roast. Remember, people are really honored just to receive the invitation. There are fantastic simple recipes which can really deliver that WOW factor.
What advice can you give those on a tight budget? Entertaining at home is so much more relaxing and intimate than going out, as well as economical. All year long, we have what we call "communal" dinners. I have yet to invite someone who has not offered to bring something. Let them! It took me a while to realize that guests want to contribute, whether it is a special kid friendly dessert to wine, to a side dish. We are such creatures of habit: same grocery store, same wine shop, same time, and so on. Talk to the butcher and wine specialist every time you go to the store. Even if you are buying your favorite wine or ground beef. Developing that relationship will help them assist you when you are looking for a great price on wine or a less expensive cut of meat.
Why do you love cooking and entertaining? As a seamstress, if I wanted to give someone a gift, it would take hours or even weeks. With food, you can whip up some love in no time! My friends and family are my life line. Cooking a delicious meal for them is just one of the ways that I can give back. I'm from a large family, it just doesn't seem right to have less than 10 people at the table! My moments of serenity come from a kitchen full of contented smiling guests and a yard full of children.

Chef Jessica Ray and I have the same philosophy of make it fun and relaxing. When you have a party at Hal's Kitchen whether it is for a 7 year old, bridal showers, corporate team building or celebrating a milestone birthday, all you do is send out the invitations and leave the rest to us. We take care of everything, from creating the menu, shopping, teaching how to prepare the dishes, getting the cake, having your guests enjoy their food and we also clean up. All you need to do is show up, ready to relax and have fun.

Action-Packed Party!
Paintball Atlanta has recently added Paintball Laser Tag to their Alpharetta location. Laser Tag has never been so real or so fun! Suited for players aged 6 - 10, the Laser Tag Birthday Party gives players all the action of paintball without the mess. Atlanta's Newest and Coolest Laser Tag Arena!
The Sandy Springs Funhouse is a family fun center for all ages. Kids enjoy the Ginormous Play Center which contains over 22,000 cubic feet of fun. Its open design allows parents to see their children at all  times. The toddler zone provide a separate space for toddlers while still enabling parents to watch and play with the older kids. And while the kids are busy, big brothers and sisters (and adults) can play laser tag, an exciting combination of tag and capture the flag using very safe, low emitting laser beams and radio waves. You'll experience the thrill of a submarine adventure when you enter the 5,000 squarefoot, 2-level arena.
The Funhouse also has a large arcade with a "candy free" redemption center. It's the only place in town where you'll find Lazer Frenzy, an interactive arcade game where you go inside the game to dodge laser beams.  Birthday Parties
