TRIVIA...OH YEAH, AND A PICTURE OF KATE
Let me begin by mentioning that this evening we will be
hosting another gathering of Trivia enthusiasts, whom by person or group, will
be competing for several things that they did not arrive with, most notably a
$20 gift certificate to the Grape. This
evenings areas of discussion shall include, but not be limited to: sports, drinks, cars, music, mating rituals
of the South American Polar bears, and origami.
Hope to see you here, the games begin around 7:00

DINING IN? PLEASE FOLLOW ME TO YOUR TABLE
As I'm sure you are all aware, there are over fifteen very
good restaurants within walking distance of the Grape, so as you are trying to
decide which one to visit, why not do so in the comfort of your friendly
neighborhood wine bar/retail establishment?
Or better yet, why not order from one or more of them and enjoy your
dinner here? Just think of it, you and
your friends can sit at one table and enjoy a pizza, sushi, burger, chili dog,
and Glazed Domestic Bison Short Ribs- it's like a food court on steroids! Plus many of the local restaurants will even
deliver, and if they are unable to, we can usually send someone to pick up for
you. So, you can sit here at the Grape,
choose a bottle of wine from one of the largest selections in Central
Florida and enjoy a meal from some of the best restaurants, that's
what we in the business of stating the obvious, call a win-win situation! So next time your trying to decide what to
do...........

JUST A COUPLE MORE THINGS....
Saturday football is here, literally. We are by no means a sports bar, but we do
have TV's and cable, cold beer and fine wine, comfortable seats, air
conditioning.........
As I mentioned before, this Monday evening, we will be
hosting a fundraiser for the DHS Track team from 5:30-8:00. The cost is $25 per person and includes light
apps, cold beer, and fine wine, all for a great cause. There will be several silent auction items
and a bunch of door prizes, tickets are limited so please let me know if you
would like to attend.

BEFORE YOU GO....
We have several new wines that we are pouring by the glass
including the Panther Creek Pinot Noir from Oregon,
Cru Chardonnay from California,
Russian Jack Sauv. Blanc from New Zealand,
and the Antis Malbec from Argentina,
stop by have a sample, if you like it,
have a glass.
We also have an abundance of wines that are eagerly looking
for a new home. There's the Rosemount
Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre blend, or GSM as it is often referred, regularly $28 a
bottle, now only $14. There is the Red
Truck Organic Sauvignon Blanc, Reg. $12, now $6. The often overlooked but never forgotten,
half bottles of Hahn Meritage are only $6, that's like paying $12 for a full bottle of wine that usually runs
$25! Well, if you know anyone looking to
adopt........
I hope to get another more in-depth newsletter out early
next week, but just as a reminder next Saturday is the Grape/Cress Restaurant
cook-off where six hopefuls will be competing for an all expenses paid vacation
to Europe, where they will be staying at the Savoy hotel......Oops, what I meant to
say is they will be competing for the bragging rights of having won the first
Grape/Cress cook-off, my mistake. Have a
great weekend, and I hope to see you soon.

I don't understand the purpose of the line, "I don't
need to drink to have
fun." Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and sticks when they've invented the
lighter?
