 Detail of our April "Homage" to Art Fest and Spring window
Spring! We are in the mood, baseball, birds singing, and lots of new lines coming in! We will soon be seeing wonderful party favors by Tops Malibu, Vapur water bottles (amazing), and bobble heads from Germany. Another exciting line coming in are hand soaps and lotions from Further made from recycled biodiesel by-products. Sounds like gunk, but in truth they smell wonderful and work well!
Another thing we love this month is the annual occurrence of Art Fest at Fort Worden here in Port Townsend. Hundreds of artists from all over the world come together to make wonderful art out of all sorts of mixed media. On Friday night, April 8th they have their annual sale in the McCurdy Pavilion at Fort Worden. It starts around 7 in the evening and is well worth a visit! You will be inspired!

Paris Found Tour
We are still calling all Francophiles! Our friend, clothing designer, co-owner of Slather, and Paris devotee, Gwen Evans, is collaborating with Beach Cottages at Marrowstone to host a French-themed girl getaway weekend Friday April 29-Sunday May 1. Plans include a champagne reception on Friday evening, a weekend long "Paris flea market" and a Sunday champagne brunch. A number of local businesses, (Summer House Design included) will provide discount coupons for shopping and eating in the Port Townsend area.
