Read it from the left, read it from the right,

this is the day Egypt was reborn!

TahyaMasr

As an Egyptian American, I have no words strong enough to express the exhilaration, the pride, and the inspiration that we all feel today. My generation was often hard on Egypt and its people. Some of us left the country, some stayed and endured the status quo. Some kept the hope alive while others surrendered to the idea that change will not happen in our lifetime.

It wasn't until these young men and women of Egypt decided to take matters into their own hands and achieve the unthinkable.

To all of you,  the heroes of the Egyptian Revolution, YOU have been an inspiration to the entire world, YOU brought back hope, YOU made us proud to be Egyptians and YOU gave us our country back.

We are in awe of your accomplishment and we bow before you in recognition and respect.

We will always be indebted to you and to all those who died fighting for our freedom.

Thank you!
