Expanded Events Calendar to Spur Visibility for the Arts

PAC is thrilled to team up with the San Mateo County/Silicon Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau to improve arts and event calendar listings for San Mateo County. The move is expected to increase visibility and attendance for arts and cultural events in the County.
The calendar will now be available on-line on both the SMCCVB and PAC websites. "Having arts information on both sites should improve results on search engines and add value for residents and visitors," says Anne LeClair, President and CEO of SMCCVB. Read more

Meet Artist Elfi Altendorfer
One artist I would not miss lives in Redwood Shores, shows at The Main Gallery in Redwood City and many, many other places. Elfi Altendorfer is currently a featured artist on the PAC website. Her work is amazing and not to be missed!

PAC's Newest Artist Registry Members, Jay and Jam ie Watson
Jay is a professional freelance photographer who specializes in lifestyleand environmental portraits for editorial, advertising, clothing, entertainment, industrial, corporate, and action sports clients. Jay has been a featured pro photographer at Lexar Media online and a photography instructor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Jamie is a printmaker whose monotypes are inspired by color, intuition, emotion, environment and oftentimes her love of surfing. Through her process vibrant color, abstract form, and found images emerge on the paper. Both are avid bloggers and social media titans! Learn more

Art on the Square - PAL Blues Festival Sat. July 28 11am-8:00 pm
If there is Music on the Square it must be summer! Judging by the crowds, everyone is ready! We are really excited to welcome back Art on the Square for a sixth year.

Redwood City Art Shows Not To Be Missed
The "Paint the Town - RWC Art Festival" funded by the RWC Cultural Commission and the RWC Downtown Business Group. Come Paint the Town, set up your artwork in a booth and join an all day art festival on Courthouse Square, September 9th.
Gallery Annex - features the art of Woody Miller, Sharon Chan Parodi, Emily Barton, Kelly McMasters, Anna Kusber, Tom Chapman, Erica Aranyos, Julia Kline and Lindsay Houge through August 3rd. Reception July 22, 2 - 5pm. 2115 Broadway, Redwood City, next door to the Spaghetti Factory.

Call for Public Art
