The PAC board is comprised of artists, performers, and arts advocates w ho strive to provide opportunities for artists and advocate for the arts in the County. This month let's give a shout out to PAC Board member Alisan Andrews whose painting, "Dragon Moon," received a 1st place in the Watercolor Division and Best of Show at the San Mateo County Fair. It was also juried into the 2011 SWA Annual Exhibit.
Board members, Julie Fellers and Joan Currie were contributing authors to the Fair's first Literary Anthology. Carry the Light, a 300-page anthology, includes short stories, poetry and personal essays that tell compelling stories. The book is published by Sand Hill Review Press and is available on Amazon.com. The Fair hosted an autograph party on June 10, where published authors signed copies and discussed their works.
Many thanks to Bardi Rosman Koodrin, director of the Literary Arts Department, Sand Hill Review Press and to many volunteers for making this book a reality.
