Meet B.O.B.
B.O.B. is the first of six public sculptures in the "Birds on Broadway" public art project to be installed on Broadway Ave. in Redwood City this fall. The project is funded by the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, and produced by Peninsula Arts Council. Artist Joe Pogan of Portland, OR created B.O.B. using found materials including spoons, nails, buttons, screws and scrap metal. A plaque will read, "Can you find all six birds?" The thrill of the hunt will encourage locals and visitors to explore downtown RWC. Attend the Meet B.O.B. Mixer on Thursday, October 20, 6:30 p.m. at Mexquite Restaurant at 2616 Broadway in RWC. Meet B.O.B. and mingle with other artists. No host cocktails.
