AYF Basketball Camp

The AYF Basketball Camp is planned  for September 24 to 26, 2010.  This camp which is designed for boys and girls ages twelve to fourteen in E and D Divisions focuses on engaging our young members in sports, recreational and educational activities.

Perhaps most importantly, the camp promotes the development of our young members' social skills allowing them to build lasting friendships with their basketball buddies. This is also a great opportunity for our athletes to showcase all their talents, off the basketball court, to their coaches and their peers. On more serious topics, educating the athletes about the history of Homenetmen and Ararat Chapter is among the goals of the program.

This year the number of the participants is about 120. Fred Babadjanians is the camp organizer. The program also benefits from the leadership and participation of coaches from boys and girls E and D Divisions, current and past board members, and A Division players who volunteer their time as group leaders and counselors.
