BEHAVIORAL CONSULTING OF TAMPA BAY TO OPEN NEW OFFICE IN WESLEY CHAPEL

Organization Expands into Pasco County

TAMPA, FL - January 15, 2009 - Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay, Inc., an organization committed to changing the lives of families and children through quality behavioral services and interventions, is opening a second office at 3717 Turman Loop, Suite 102 in Wesley Chapel, Fla., on February 23, 2009.

According to Kelley Gardner, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the president of Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay, Inc., the new 2,000 square foot facility will initially accommodate a staff of up to eight, including a Behavior Analyst, Associate Behavior Analyst and therapists serving the children and families of the Wesley Chapel area.

Gardner, who founded Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay, Inc. in 2004, and her staff have assisted more than 150 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and problem behaviors to learn language, social and other developmentally-appropriate skills to better their lives and the lives of their families. The main office at 6916 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Suite 102, in Tampa will continue to serve Tampa Bay area children and their parents.

Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs with an emphasis on verbal behavior. Our skill acquisition programs, customized for each child's learning needs, focus on evoking language and communication, self-help skills, compliance behavior and appropriate peer and social skills. All received our intensive instruction averaging 10 hours a week for 5 months. We found, on average, the group more than doubled their original skill set. Based on these findings, we're confident that all children, regardless of skill deficits, diagnosis, or behavior, can learn skills and develop behaviors never before thought possible if a quality behavior analysis program is implemented.
