For this sale, we are offering two special types of blueberries:

 Sunshine Blue Blueberry

Vaccinium x 'Sunshine Blue'

(Southern Highbush)

Easy to grow in containers!

Self pollinating but will yield a much bigger fruit and crop when paired with another variety. Misty is a good companion.

Evergreen, compact habit 3 to 4 ft. Attractive year round foliage and hot pink spring flowers. Heavy crops, produces up to ten pounds of delicious, light blue, medium sized berries that ripen from early August through early September.

Very low chilling requirement (150 hours) yet frost hardy. Tolerales higher pH soils better than other varieties. This makes this a perfect choice for gardeners in California.

Hardiness to 0 F, a   Can be used as a hedge

Misty Early Season Blueberry

Vaccinium x 'Misty'

(Southern Highbush)

Easy to grow in containers!

Self pollinating but will yield a much bigger fruit and crop when paired with another variety. perfect compliment to "Sunshine Blue".

In the west, Misty is quite vigorous, growing very well both on the coast and in the inland heat.

It grows about 5' tall, is one of the most attractive southern high bush varieties. The berries are medium to large size and of excellent quality. Growers especially like Misty's evergreen tendency in areas with mild winters.  The bright blue green foliage provides a perfect contrast to the hot pink spring flowers and the sky blue, very flavorful fruit.

Does well in areas with chilling as low as 150 hours and all areas with mild winters and hot summers and tolerates  higher pH soils makes this a perfect USDA Zones 7-9 choice.

Hardiness to 0 F, and can be used as a hedge.
