- 'Mission Santa Cruz'
- 'Pretty Boy'
- 'Canyon Snow' (right)
- 'Deepening Shadows'

... and Even More Daylilies Available
We also featured Daylilies in a recent email. Three other named varieties of Dayliies may be of interest to you for your garden:
- 'Valley Sprite'
- 'Sister Sally's Blessing' (right)
- 'Power to Charm'
Editor's note: Daylilies can provide a real impact in the garden for not a lot of effort.

Half-Price Sale on California Native Roses ... and other garden thoughts
These are well established roses planted in 5 gallon pots. If you are considering a habitat garden, these roses would be a perfect addition and don't forget the bonus of rose hips in the Fall. A native rose covered with bright, shiny red hips is a sight to behold. These roses were originally priced at $10 -- you may purchase them for $5 for a 5 gallon plant.
Although we sold most of our clearance plants at our November sale, we continue to have a selection of plants available for free or $1 at the Tuesday plant sales. Our goal is to keep the beds filled with high quality plants and we are continuing to add new plants each week.
We have a good selection and large quantity of Arctotis and Gazania 'Talent' (very silvery leaves) available. Some of the Arctotis are beginning to bloom and once they start they are in flower most of the year. Arctotis does well in heat and cold.
We also continue to have a large selection of California natives. This is definitely the very best time to plant them.
Also consider planting a few Douglas Irises hybrids (above) for a good show of color in the Spring. |
