This half day, interactive workshop for supply chain and corporate social responsibility managers features lessons learned by Chris Anstey, a 30 year veteran of supply chain management. The Outreach Director for the Global Social Compliance Programme, Chris also spent 15 years in supply chain management at Tesco. The event will also feature content and speakers from Canadian retailers, CBSR, RCC, and GS1 Canada.
In these sessions, participants will:
- Understand current global supply chain developments, emerging best practices and their relevance in Canada
- Understand current developments in private label, risk assessment, environmental impacts, labour standards, monitoring schemes and the Global Social Compliance Program
- Understand critical issues in supply chain standards, product safety and recall
- Identify high leverage opportunities for collaboration and next steps to advance towards a more sustainable supply chain
