Greetings!

Spring has arrive in Algonquin Park and also has Algonquin Outfitters, spring photo contest.

This time around we're featuring photos with a "New Arrivals" Theme.  This doesn't mean that they need to be spring photos, they can be from any time of the year, including spring.

What "New Arrivals" mean to us, are things like:
  • Young wildlife from Algonquin Park
  • Spring buds and flowers
  • even kids experiencing Algonquin Park adventures

New Arrivals image This will be our 13th online photo contest.  We started back in 2008 with breathing life back into our old photo contest with a new online version. Since then we've hosted three contests each year.

Spring * Summer * Fall / Winter

Each photo contest attracts dozens of photographers from all over the globe (we often receive entries from the states or even Europe)

Our judges are different with each contest as we ask our previous winners to return as judges, this allows us to hand over ownership of our photo contest to those who enter making it more fun for everyone.  Winners area also not allowed to enter the next contest allowing others to have a chance to win.

Judging this contest will be:
Steve Kovacs * Kalynn Hall * Nathan Miller and our good friend Barry Bridgeford

Tilley TWC6 Outback Hat
Tilley Outback Hat

New for 2012 from Tilley Endurables.  The TWC6 Tilley Outback Hat, designed with a broad brim, employs a modern waxed cotton technology that can be washed, worn, packed, used and abused. The hatband and binding in traditional British tan contrasts the rugged olive colour, resulting in a Hat with true 'bush-whacking' appeal. Over time, the waxed cotton fabric develops a leather-like appearance that weathers to the nuances and character of each Hat owner.
