Hello Shadow Oaks Pool Members: Spring is just around the corner and that means the pool is almost open!! Mark your calendar for our first Membership Meeting of the new year - TUESDAY, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. We'll meet at the pool! This will be an important meeting as the Board of Directors share our current financial statements and a report of the repairs and improvements that need to be made to bring our pool to compliance standards before opening day in May.*
We will also be having Clean-Up Weekends on March 14 & 15 and March 28 & 29 to make final preparations for our first events of 2009. Donuts, coffee, and juice will be provided. Your help is needed, so please attend for any amount of time that you can!
April 3 we are hosting a Movie Night & Camp-Out and the following morning, April 4 we will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt. We are working with our new neighbors at League America to co-host the event Friday night. In addition, we are promoting this event through the Shadow Oaks and Royal Oaks Civic Associations, along with League America. This event will be open to the community in an attempt to bring in new members. YOU can help SORA by spreading the word to your friends and neighbors!
Our 2009 rates are posted on the website at www.shadowoakspool.org and we are now accepting payment via PayPal, should you wish to use the convenience of your credit card. In an effort to attract many new members, we have lowered our 2009 membership rates and, as a special incentive to current members, we are offering you a $50 Visa gift card for any new referrals that join the pool before May 1, 2009. Please help us keep our rates low and get your friends and neighbors to support the pool.
