Adore HimSaturday, November 27 Timothy Christian School 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Our Christmas event is fast approaching. This year our event is titled "Adore Him".
We will enjoy listening to several musically talented individuals and groups as they help us usher in the season of Christ's birth. As well, we'll enjoy warm beverages and delectable desserts. You won't want to miss this special evening so be sure to get this on your calendar.
This year we have a special guest - Renee Power - demonstrating holiday decor. Renee has been hired for the past several years to decorate the Christmas trees at Bradford Greenhouses. We are excited to have her share her expertise with us.

Festive Cooking
Brunch Oven Omelet This is a great recipe for Christmas morning breakfast (and it's low calorie too). Serve with baked peameal bacon, ham or sausage, hash browns and you are done.
This serves 12 but can easily be cut in half. If you do this be sure to reduce the size of the pan as well. Prep time 10 minutes Bake for 35 minutes.
1/4 cup butter or margarine 18 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1 cup milk 2 teaspoons salt 4 medium green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
To make this a calorie friendly omelet, use low fat sour cream and 1% milk or skim milk. To add even more flavour you could add chopped ham, green peppers, mushrooms etc. 1. Heat oven to 325F 2. In 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish, melt butter in oven; tilt dish to coat bottom. 3. In large bowl, beat eggs, sour cream, milk and salt with fork or wire whisk until blended. Stir in onions. Pour into baking dish. 4. Bake uncovered about 35 minutes or until eggs are set but moist. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Memory Verse
"From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."
Matthew 24:32-35
