To our church family:

All week we have been watching the devastating pictures coming out of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The destruction and loss of life are unimaginable.
 
Like many of you I have been thinking about how we can best help. I have travelled twice to Haiti and am brokenhearted over what I have seen. And I want to help.

I was encouraged when Pastor James MacDonald called upon all of our Harvest Bible Fellowship churches to respond together to this crisis. We'll be linking arms with Pastor Mark Driscoll and his Acts 29 Network to come alongside the churches of Haiti in the aftermath of this earthquake.

THIS SUNDAY, January 17, we will be receiving A SPECIAL OFFERING for the churches of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  Please come prepared to give generously toward this effort.

We will be receiving more information in the coming days and weeks as surveys are made and specific places to help are decided upon. On Sunday, January 24, we will have a video message from James that will give us more information about how we might best impact the people and churches in Haiti.

Continue to pray for those caught in this tragedy including family members who are here in Canada awaiting word from their loved ones. Keep checking the blog for updates and details of how we can help.
