| County Pawditor Releases Pet Tax Form |

Your pet is certainly a dependent and contributes to
your
household. Therefore, the County Pawditor has just
released
the 2008
WK-9 tax
form allowing you to identify and deduct expenses for
your pet's
health, food and actions. We asked Poodle Samson
Thorne
during his most recent stay if his mom had deducted
anything
this year. Samson replied, "No, all ducks seem to still
be in the
backyard".

This past week, pet guests celebrated Easter and
Passover in style at The Barkley. The majority of
guests enjoyed their meeting with the Easter Bunny.
They even got a chance to try on a set of bunny ears!
On the other hand, the kosher dogs remained true to
their faith by
playing strictly with Chewish toys and sniffing for the
Afikomen (the Beagles had an unfair advantage once
again).

Browns wide receiver Brian Brennan, is The Barkley's
Pet of The Month! Boston takes after his father when it
comes
to catching the ball, although his pass patterns are a
bit
random. He loves playing with other Barkley guests
and is as
gentle as they come. His two recent stays and his
overall
loving nature have resulted in the staff naming him to
this
month's paw of fame!

overnight guests: Nature Walks in the MetroParks!
These one hour sessions begin with a luxurious
limousine ride to the Chagrin MetroParks followed by
a 30-minute hike (with a certified handler) through the

In celebration of our two-year anniversary, I want to
personally thank each and every one of you for your
continued business and tremendous loyalty to The
Barkley, especially during such challenging times. It
has been an exciting venture to say the least and I am
proud to say we just reached 5,000 customers - some
from as far away as Illinois!
I often hear from many of you personally and want to
thank you for your well wishes, great ideas and
suggestions on how we can accommodate you even
better. As we enter our third year, we will continue to
improve our facilities, offer superior customer care and
elevate our commitment to serve each pet guest.
