It is hard to believe that 2010 is already drawing to a close. As a volunteer, you helped us make a difference for Chicago's low-income tenants throughout 2010, and we hope you continue to dedicate your time and effort to LCBH through 2011. All the ways you help LCBH matter - money, time, and spreading the word about what we do - and we never take this support for granted.
We would like to underscore our appreciation for the contributions of our in-office volunteers and legal interns over the last few months. The following attorneys and law students have provided countless hours of compassionate representation for our clients. Their consistency and dedication are unparalleled. Without their steadfast efforts, LCBH would not be able to reach out to as many families as we do. We are so proud count the following individuals as valued members of our team:
Aileen Flanagan Charles Nichols Renee Williams Matt Buck
Tyree Wright Jeffrey Scroger Si Hyun Kim Laura Ramsey
Shelly Miller Serena Watson Molly Glanz
We are also pleased to welcome three new in-office volunteers to LCBH. Beginning in January, Bob Wasiak, a retired attorney and real estate lawyer, will join our team on Fridays. Sarah Mazzone, a Depaul 2L, will be joining us on Tuesdays and Thursdays to assist in the Tenant Advocacy Project and the Affordable Housing Preservation Program. Alex Michael, a recently admitted attorney, has recently signed on to volunteer in our Attorney of the Day Program. University of Virginia 3L Joseph Kniaz will be devoting his break from law school to volunteer with LCBH through January. We are particularly grateful to have Joseph spend his vacation volunteering with us. Finally, Michael Tuman, a John Marshall law student, will be returning to LCBH as a 3L. We're thrilled to have him back in the office.
We hope you get a chance to meet each of these wonderful new members of the LCBH team.

Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming weeks.
Training SessionsWe are always interested in scheduling more training sessions and do not mind bringing our show on the road. Hosting a training session at your firm is an easy way to avoid the elements, encourage your colleagues to learn more about LCBH, and to help promote pro bono involvement. Plus, we know your tech support will make sure we get everything running smoothly, and it is nice to get out of the office!
