District 1 Neighbor,
OK, so I lied. I said that "The Scoop" was going to be on a hiatus until the Council reconvened from the summer recess on August 19. Truth is, I didn't realize there were a few more great things happening in Mesa that I wanted to share with you prior to returning from the summer break.
In this issue you will find information about the community clean-up project at Carson Jr. High, registration dates for fall adult sports leagues, and how to apply for the next Mesa Citizens Police Academy.
Sincerely,
Councilmember Dave Richins

All photos/videos should be submitted to: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mesafiredept/.
Also, a special thank you to Hubbard School at Mesa Riverview, Southwest Ambulance, Carl's Jr and Phoenix Children's Hospital for sponsoring the Lessons for Life water safety classes during the month of August. |
