Dear Colleagues,

We've had a brief reprieve at GrantProse following a very busy January through May; however, activity is picking up again with a number of large grant projects. And, we are doing our best to keep you informed about new grant opportunities and training opportunities. We hope you will mark our website as a favorite on your computer and return once or twice a month to learn what's new.

After a recent visit to our Foundations webpage, reader Sally Wade with the NC Food Bank alerted us to another sign of the financial times--the JEHT Foundation is no longer. JEHT, a charity that supported criminal and juvenile justice reform, stopped making grants in early 2009. Established in 2000, JEHT became a victim of Bernie Madoff, along with several other prominent foundations and charities that invested funds with him. Thanks to Sally for helping us stay up to date on our Foundations listing, which includes agencies with rolling or multiple grant deadlines.
