Summer Reading Program Begins June 16, 2011!
Finally...summer is here and that means reading for prizes instead of for grades! The Summer Reading Program runs from June 16 - July 31, 2011 and not only encourages kids and teens to read for fun but also helps them retain what they've learned during the school year. Here's the scoop...
Children's Summer Reading "One World, Many Stories"
- Children Ages 3 - entering 6th grade next fall
- Prizes for reading 10, 15, and 20 hours
- Free craft programs every Tuesday
- Free performances every Thursday

Culture Connection Summer Series

Patio Playhouse Community Theater kicks-off the summer series with
A Salute to Our Troops Past and Present.

This USO show will have you tapping your toes and humming your favorite tunes from the 1940s.

Coming this Summer: eBooks & eAudiobooks

The wait is almost over! This summer the library is unveiling our two latest online services: eBooks and eAudiobooks. You will be able to download books and audiobooks to your computers, eBook readers (Kindle downloads not available just yet), smartphones and tablets (iPads, etc.) We will let you know as soon as everything is set up and ready to go.
