Invocation
O God our heavenly Father, hear my prayer when I cry to You. Fill us with Your Spirit, grant to us the courage to speak with gentleness, patience, and courage. Remind me to bring those who do not know of You to You in prayer, that Your Spirit would enliven hearts to Your glory alone. Amen.
Reading Luke 4:31-44 ; Psalm 126
Reflection
At day break Jesus went out to a solitary place ..."I must preach the the God News of the Kingdom of God to the other town also, because that is why I was sent". Notice what Jesus had to do before he got on his way to spread the Good News. He let no one district him from going to a solitary place to pray. Luther said we can not afford not to pray. When it comes to building the Kingdom of Christ, no task is too small or too big for us to pray. Do you ever get in a hurry to tell people about Jesus but forget to tell Jesus about them? He is the Lord of the Harvest so take your time to talk to him before you leave and pray for his people he came to save by name. As you already know, the Harvest is plentiful and colorful with God's people from all Nations. Jesus knows them and care for them more that we can ever do and imagine, so don't leave without Him. It was for this very reason he came..."Father Glorify your name"
Karim Baidaoui, POBLOTX
Pray (As you pray include . . . people who don't know Christ; people who will plant & witness; people who pray. )
Benediction
May God richly bless the new messengers of Christ's love. May God richly bless all of us as we serve as stewards and witnesses of Christ's love! Amen.
