Invocation
Almighty Father, send your Spirit into our hearts and guide our minds that we would see the movement of Your hand and the grace that is offered to all people, by Your church, in the name of Him Who is, Who was, and Who is to come; Jesus. Amen.

Reflections
"The evidence of the grace of God."
This mission of Jesus for the world is not pie-in-the-sky-by-and-by. You are not spinning "feel good" messages to numb the masses. You are not steeped in escapism. Karl Marx was off the mark when he said that "religion is the opiate of the people." True, human-conceived religious systems can be opiates, but Jesus is not. He strips away every pretense and feel-good fakery and leaves you naked, exposed as the real you. Then He clothes you with His righteousness, stands back, smiles, and says, "What do you think about the new you?"
Being made into a new creation through Christ is the real deal. Even the Greeks in Antioch received a new Christ-wardrobe. Barnabas saw the evidence. There's always evidence when Jesus is at work.
That's why you can step into mission boldly: It's real; it works; the broken world is naked and exposed; a real wardrobe is desperately needed over against the wily whispers about how beautiful the emperor's new clothes are.
We don't need more lies. We need evidence. There's evidence of God's grace to be had. Let's bring it.
