"I was a new manager for the city, and hadn't been involved in the Phase II storm water permit process.  Carlisle/Wortman had the experts we needed.  They produced the necessary documents, delivered them to the DEQ and taught me the basics of the permitting process, leaving time for me to concentrate on other city business."

Technology Toolkit
is Township Association cover story

MTA coverThe Technology Planning Toolkit CWA created for Oakland County was featured as the cover story for the April issue of the Michigan Townships Association magazine. When the Toolkit was unveiled in 2009,  County Executive L. Brooks Patterson praised it as a "road map" towards a diversified, information-age economy. This link takes you to the full document.
Energy
Waterford Township to monitor and conserve energy
Waterford Township has retained Carlisle/Wortman for up to three years for a monthly energy planning and monitoring contract.  CWA's Zak Branigan will collect monthly energy information (fuel usage data, building natural gas and electrical bills) and use a series of analytical tools to monitor and track the progress of energy-saving measures being implemented by the township.  We also will help the township administer its EECBG grant.
Fisher Building
New project
in Detroit's New Center
Carlisle/Wortman Associates will evaluate the current zoning ordinance regulations for the New Center Council of Detroit. We will recommend amendments to the zoning ordinance to make it more conducive to entertainment along Second Avenue, and will seek ways to incorporate transit oriented design regulations for the Woodward Avenue frontage.
